Life on Earth evolved through billions of years of contention. From this relentless struggle for survival emerged a stunning diversity which fills us with all varieties of thought and feeling. Nature may teach us, amaze us, comfort us, or frighten us.
To try to capture this experience in a photograph is a futile gesture, yet I find myself trying as many others do. My photographs are idealized memories of the things in nature which I found to be meaningful.
My hope is that these photographs may give you inspiration and serenity on days in which there are no better substitutes.
